Located poolside at the Empress Hotel, Paradise is a fun gay club with a little something for everyone. Drag shows, live local music and feel-good community events are all popular, but there's always dancing too. The cover charge ranges based on date/event, and summer is definitely the best time to go.

Paradise/Empress
Absolutely loved the ambiance of the Paradise Empress complex; we lounged poolside with drinks Saturday July 31 and it was wonderful; only criticism is that Paradise the club needs a makeover, just a few touches to bring into this decade; DJ wasn't very current, but every place can't be DC and NYC; Shout out to Dale and Scott, the Gay Thing DC, and It's a Gay World for recommending....
Fun at the Shore
Gotta love the Empress Hotel complex that includes Paradise nightclub, two smaller in-door bar areas, a restaurant, and the pool/poolside bar. Really something for everyone day and night. Food is surprisingly good; I loved the crab cakes. Looking forward to checking back soon for the Sunday tea dance (summers only) and the now-Friday night midnight drag show.

FUN PLACE
The crowd in doors is mostly older out by the pool younger. Dance floor an bit dark and loud for talking but other wise cool.
